New Tips for HS Relief

Posted by Shantea Jones on

It's been a while! I could say I was giving you guys some extra time to catch up on the previous blogs....but the truth is I have been working on a new product specifically for #HSTreatment!

Before I give more details about the product and how it can be used in your skincare routine, let me provide you with a couple of tips I have recently discovered. --Have you ever noticed that skin tightness and HS seem to go hand-in-hand? More specifically in the areas where you are more prone to breakouts. So, I have started being more conscious about the way my body reacts when I eat certain foods or drink certain drinks. I have noticed that when I don't drink enough water throughout the day, it has a significant impact on my HS outbreaks. It is though I can feel the areas where I usually get outbreaks, get tighter and tighter. However, when I am hydrated, my skin has more stretch and is less prone to irritation. So, start paying attention to your body during hydration and give me feedback in the comments section. I want to know if this makes a difference for you!

I also recently started replacing breakfast and lunch with fresh smoothies and have noticed my skin irritations have been less severe. I suggest giving this a try for a couple of weeks and seeing if this helps.

Ok, so now for the new product. I have been in the kitchen! I created a salve that significantly speeds up the healing process of an outbreak! I had a HUGE outbreak under my underarm and tried applying my salve and within seconds, the pain was reduced tremendously! On day 2, I applied my salve and the bump began coming to a head. On the third day, the bump erupted and began draining. I applied the salve for a couple more days until the swelling was completely gone while keeping the area clean and bandaged.
The beauty is, that it only takes a pea-sized amount to apply to the irritated area and it instantly begins to work! I am still working on a product to use along with this salve to help with the dark spots that are left behind after the skin irritation has healed. So, stay tuned! In the meantime, if you would like to become a "Tester" for my salve. Email anu.lashbytea@gmail.com and we will get you started!
