How to treat HS flare-ups without on setting an Infection.

Hey there! If you are reading this, I hope you find this well. I know we all have been super busy lately that is why I decided to give you guys a chance to catch up on the latest blogs!

This week, let us talk about how to safely treat an HS flare-up. --The first thing that probably comes to mind when you first get a pimple or boil is to try to POP IT! 😅 Well, please don't 🚫 do that! Attempting to pop a bump when you have an HS can cause the bacteria to spread under the skin and lead to infection. The safest at-home remedy to use is a heat compress. You can start by placing direct heat on the irritated area in the shower or bathtub. Then continue the process using a hot (as you can stand it), damp cloth on the irritated area repeating as often as you can until the boil erupts. Once the boil begins draining, it is imperative that you clean the area thoroughly and place a Band-Aid or gauze on the affected area. Change the Band-Aid or Gauze often until the boil is finished draining. Once the boil begins the healing phase, I recommend using Aloe Vera gel and Tea Tree Oil daily to help with the healing process.

I hope this helps you all. I am working on something that I think will be a game-changer in speeding up the healing process of our HS flare-ups!! 🤩🤩🤩 I am currently in the testing phase but I can't wait to bring it to the market! In the meantime, if you are interested in being a tester please contact us at anu.lashbytea@gmail.com with the Subject Line "HS Product Tester Inquiry".
